NEORION

INFORMATION

Information for the correct operation of the boat

1) ANCHOR

  • We open and secure the anchor.
  • When dropping the anchor, make sure that its chain does not damage the plastic parts of the boat.
  • Using the guide located on the front of the boat, we drop the anchor carefully to the end of the chain, afterwards you can release the rope more easily.
  • From the moment the anchor reaches the bottom, we leave 15 meters of rope and chain.

2) RESCUE EQUIPMENT

EVERY BOAT HAS:

  • 6 adult life jackets (if there are children, smaller life jackets are available)
  • 3 sparklers and 3 distress signals
  • Pharmacy
  • Paddles
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Flashlight-knife
  • Floating anchor-15 meters of extra rope
  • The necessary documents of the boat

* RESCUE EQUIPMENT LOCATED RIGHT AND LEFT, IN THE CABINETS

3) FUEL

  • The fuel is situated in the back of the boat. Watch out the fuel before it runs out, we must change the tank. (*Very important for the engine)
  • In case of engine failure, check the fuel first.

4) ENGINE OPERATION

  • 2-speed “forward and reverse” engine
  • Pressing the button on the controller, select forward or reverse and, by holding it towards a direction, we increase the speed
  • On the controller there is a button marked “UP-DOWN” (POWERTRIM), indicated on the top and bottom of the engine.
  • When driving, the engine must be in the water (DOWN), while when it stops out of the water (UP), as much as it needs to avoid cooling.

GENERAL RULES

  • We drive slowly when entering or leaving the port.
  • We drive 500 m. away from the shores.
  • When we want to approach a shore, we drive slowly, straight to the place we want to anchor.
  • We do not approach bathers (PROHIBITED).
  • If we see a balloon or a flag, we drive 200 m deeper because it could be nets, land, or someone diving.
  • When the wind blows towards the land, we drive away from the rocks to have time to react in case the engine shuts down.
  • The southeastern side of the island is open sea. We must be careful, because sometimes the wind and waves are stronger. If the wind is very strong, we choose the other side of the island.
  • Please, enter the boat without shoes and with clean feet (no sand).
  • We do not make abrupt maneuvers, risk of accident.
  • Larger boats have priority.
  • In case of engine stop, drop the anchor to immobilize the boat.
  • Close the tent in case of wind.
